Our Commitment to Data Security

MyMedBot commits to the highest standards of data security and privacy to protect the personal information of parents, students and employees. It is our priority to make sure that our solutions do not just help protect the health and safety of school communities but also adequately safeguard sensitive data.

Security by Design: Our products are built with security in mind to prevent XSS attacks, man-in-the-middle attacks, and other attempts from malicious actors to hack sensitive data

Data Encryption: Your data is encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption on AWS and in transit using TLS

AWS Data Centres: Your data is stored on Amazon Web Services servers located in the United States, the industry benchmark for internet security. The data is also backed-up regularly

Passwords Protection and Access Control: Both the mobile application and online dashboard are protected with passwords stored in an unreadable hashed form. You also can easily add or revoke access to the online dashboard and mobile app if necessary

You Own Your Data: You have control over what happens to your data. Personal data is not sold or or used for marketing purposes. You can request for it to be deleted any time

We Collect the Minimum Necessary Data: MyMedBot does not track your GPS location or request any additional data to be stored beyond what is required for schools and businesses to conduct their screening protocol

Option to Only Store ‘Pass’ or ‘Fail’ Status: To accommodate the strictest data privacy rules, schools can now choose to not store responses to specific screening questions. Only the ‘Pass’ or ‘Fail’ status will be stored if this option is switched on

Compliance with FERPA & CCPA in the US and GDPR in Europe
